Notice of Complete Application and Joint Public Meeting
Proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments
TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell and the Corporation of the Township of East Hawkesbury will hold a joint public meeting on:
Date: August 10, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Township of East Hawkesbury Town Hall, 5151 County Road 14, St-Eugene
The purpose of the meeting is to consider:
County Official Plan Amendment OPA-001-2026
The proposed amendment would redesignate the settlement areas of Ste-Anne-de-Prescott and St-Eugène from “Community Policy Area” to “Hamlet Policy Area”, permitting development on private services.
Township Zoning By-law Amendment
The proposed amendment would revise zoning standards for residential lots served by private septic systems throughout the Township and would rezone municipally owned lands at Ste. Anne Park to permit residential development.
Subject Lands
The Official Plan Amendment applies to lands within the settlement area boundaries of Ste-Anne-de-Prescott and St-Eugène. The Zoning By-law Amendment applies throughout the Township of East Hawkesbury and to the Ste. Anne Park. No key map is provided.
